1. Acceptance
By creating an account or playing as a guest, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use BlastType.
2. Acceptable use
Please keep the game fun for everyone. You agree not to:
- Cheat, including using auto-typers, macros, or any form of score manipulation.
- Run bots or automated scripts against the game or leaderboard.
- Attempt to break, probe, or disrupt our services or other players’ experiences.
- Harass other players or upload usernames that are hateful or obscene.
3. Age requirement
You must be at least 13 years old to create a BlastType account, in line with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you are younger than 13, please ask a parent or guardian to supervise any use of the site.
4. Accounts and usernames
You own your username and profile content. BlastType owns the platform, code, art, sounds, stage designs, and everything else that makes the game itself. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
5. No warranties
BlastType is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do our best to keep the game running, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BlastType and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the game.
7. Account termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including for cheating or score manipulation. You may close your own account at any time; when you do, we remove your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of the United States unless otherwise required by local law.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a meaningful change, we will update the “Effective” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email.
